Knights are a perfect example of recruitment of a bunch of players over an offseason doesn’t amount to overnight success, especially with Barrett coaching still. Good to have optimism but I’m tempering mine until we see how good our team actually plays together (and whether Barrett knows what to do with them).

This is Barrett’s year to shine, if he doesn’t his number is up, his time as an NRL coach will be over for many years, if not forever. He has the best support on and off the field that any Bulldogs coach has had for almost 2 decades. With Gould as GM of Football he has best mentor in the NRL. No room for failure.
