Potter has done wonders getting these guys playing with confidence and belief..

Moving King to lock helped.. The players are all pushing up in support in numbers on every run.. They're looking to offload all of the time. It's been a huge turnaround and these results are just more evidence of how much Baz was sucking the life out of the team and holding them back. And he was supposed to be an attacking coach..

Anyway.. full credit to Potter and the players. It's been great to watch

Also noticed halves aren't camped on edges
More talk between players
Lock isn't link man
When we break we have spine players on each side
Offload support is getting better

100%. You need to play to the strengths of the players not try to be Penrith lite with less talented players. We don't have a Cleary, Api or Yeo to play their system.

So much more talk between the players. Plus they're all blowing up when someone doesn't pass when they've supported on a run.. Shows how much more hunger they have and how everyone is holding each other accountable. Whereas under Baz they were all zombies that looked like they couldn't care less and didn't want to be there..

What was our average under Baz? I know it was about 10 points a game last season.. Thought it was about 14 points this season..

A 13 point difference in 5 games under Potter is massive. Shows what a good coach can do and how much a bad coach can hold a team back.

Sorry bro missed that part. We all knew Baz was bad but Potter is making him look ten times worse.
17.2 ppg improvement is insane. Factor in that Barrett had 2 full off-seasons to work with the team.

What I loved the most was the players blowing up at Vaughan to get off the field when he got binned. They just wanted to keep ripping.
Baz played it too safe whilst not seeing the forest through the trees.

He took away all the structure plays and freed them all up. That's how we should play every week. Bring on the cronulla sharps.
That's basically how we played in the early 2000's. Great to see it back!

yep, midway through the first half, Averillo looked skywards after Flanagan decided to run on the fifth near the Tigers line and get tackled instead of putting it through the backline

a lot of energy in the team at the moment
