yea but we're still here, and that is all that matters. Better to play bad and win (us) than to play above your weight and lose (fagons). God cant imagine what you'll be like if we actually lose lol.
I'm with you brother.
Half these ***** would be carrying on like we lost, if we won the GF in that fashion.
I don't understand it, we're still alive. Ask dragons fans, who were happy with their performance last night, if they'd rather have played worse and won ?

Ow that hurts. What, would you rather Murdoch's acolytes sprout their pro-Bronco/Storm crap while actively yearning for another Super League? We're still getting over the last disaster!

But he won, didn't he. He evoked a response. Look at the size of this thread. Like all all these drunken hacks, Caryannis was told to don his 'devil's advocate' hat and write this piece simply because it would put bums on seats and eyes on the SMH website. Works every time. Tell you what, next time some Paul K*nt-type hack writes a stupid, irrelevant piece like this, ignore it. Let the haters hate. Watch him then run to Centrelink faster than ever before!

Haha it's true but I didn't click the link so he didn't get the hit he was after. He got a response from me on the kennel. Here's hoping the blogger logged onto the kennel to read our responses. Then we've won.

Hard to say really.
1) the refs certainly did St Merge a lot of favours and they could not capitalise
2) the rorters looked pretty poor in their game.
Matter of fact so did the Storm.
You guys hit a bit of form and get that Pommy git Graham to concentrate on PLAYING instead of trying to be a PITA to the refs and things could go your way.

very hard to disagree with his analysis. We should've won & won well instead we put in a shit house performance and just scraped through.
Yep, we should have won with daylight second and the Dragons somewhere behind. But you're dead right; it was a shithouse performance.

The way I saw it, four things reeally annoyed me:

1) The backline didn't see enough ball in attack. Two or three hard momentum gaining hit ups should have been enough and the speed would have done the rest - especially in the first half.
2) Tim Lafai looked as though he was at a training session getting used to running onto an inside pass and going nowhere. It must have happened about six times. (But I really liked Lafai's defence)
3) Aiden Tolman's defensive effort is incredible, we're really under the pump without him. But Tolman taking the first pass on the fifth tackle? No Aiden... NO!
4) Our last tackle options seemed to be planned to let the other team off the hook. Nine out of ten times its an unplanned kick somewhere in the direction of the opposition line.

Well that's my little rant at Des making sure we're under the radar.
