I have a feeling these two records are going to be smashed this season. 9 games in and Haaland and de Bruyne are already cruising it.

That 3rd goal vs United was just all round fantastic. Even if Varane wasn't injured the pass from Kevin was sublime and how Haaland knew how to position and use his body was unbelievable

I said it in June/July that the season is over before it even started. Haaland is the best player in the world.

I think injuries will play a big part in it to be honest. Haaland has never played more than 28 games in a league campaign in his whole career because of injuries. And across all competitions, he has only played more than 30 games once in his whole career.

De Bruyne has also had two long stints on the side lines the past two seasons.
