Nasheed here,
Just a change of direction for just a moment.

Since this isolation thing started, I haven't been trusting takeaway food. Don't know what Chinese restaurants have imported from Wuhan or what the local McDonald's worker has coughed or not.
In times of survival and downward economy it's best to cook anyway.

Does anyone have any ideas for delicious recipes they could post for everyone?
I have a Tongan girlfriend and trust me, she likes to EAT! A lot! So I have pressure to mix up my routine in a way I can understand (from footy fans).
So far my reportoire is simply;

spaghetti/pasta bolognaise
Spinach curry
Mutton flaps
Chicken tikka masala
Grilled chicken
Taco/burritos
Noodles

does anyone have anything else they would like to share?

to start the ball rolling, I got mad love for this spinach curry recipe;

I ignore the flatbread stuff. Very easy once you got the ingredients.
Nasheed.

In times of uncertainty we call in our saviour, the one and only @Blue_boost with his words of wisdom.
Boosty makes his own pizza dough outta excess dunny paper. Sprinkle with undersize prawns, homebrand cheese and enjoy. Serve with paper cups underfilled with Royal Cola.
Feeds 8-10 renters or 1 homeowner.
Enjoy!

Normal Maggi noodles can be made into a quick tasty meal by leaving a bit of the boiling water in with the cooked noodles in a bowl, add flavour packet, small tin of chilli tuna, spinach leaves and a bit of cheddar cheese. Makes a cheap laksa-style meal. It's good IMO.

Stir fries are simple, quick and good. I make beef, chicken, pork or lamb ones.

Same vegies in all of them?
Haven't tried lamb stir fry, do you marinate the lamb first?
Love those crunchy water chestnuts and baby corn in stir-fry.

Yeah veggies and sometimes noodles or rice depending on what I feel like. Nah I don't marinate the lamb I cheat and just use the bottled sauce/marinate while I'm cooking because I'm lazy.

Anyway, as I said before. You can't beat a stir fry for something quick, easy and somewhat decent.
