Not a good argument bro since we’re the best defensive team this season and he’s only played 30 minutes or thereabouts. I’m a Sam fan though and wouldn’t have dropped him after his comeback game a few weeks ago.

Rather still an argument as last year was a more difficult year. Boys worked harder last year..

Sam could easily become an elite middle forward, same as Jack Todd, their bodies have let them down so far.

Its going to be a very difficult decision come cut time.... Once everyone is healthy there will be some no option decisions.

He got up without really stumbling and made like 2-3 tackles after then ran back into the defensive line without issue, why was he ruled out lol?
Just watched it again your right how did he fail that?

I have looked at it in slow mo several times. It looks like DSF trips & Edwards holds him up like he has been concussed. Maybe this is something to do to other teams later in the year to get them subbed off. How easy would it be to corrupt the system like that?
He copped a forearm to the head clear as day but didnt really worry him

Both times DSF was hit while attempting to tackle a player from a kick off. A lot of players bringing the ball back from a kick off either lead with their shoulder or with a raised forearm aka bumper bar.

Tacklers can’t shoulder charge a ball carrier, but that seems to go out the window when the ball carrier does it.
Gus says it all the time. Not that Daniel was knocked out this time. Seemed ok. But the tackler with the way the game is played and the way tackles are made is more likely to get concussed from a tackle than the guy carrying the ball….. funny isn’t it. We’ve gone so 180 with the duty of care anyone that comes close to the guy running the ball is a naughty boy. But the duty of care on the tackler from trying to wrap up the ball while stopping the attacker. It’s fair game. Even if the runner uses a forearm or drops his shoulder or hip in the tackles….. it’s fine.

It is how some what anything can look dramatic and spectacular which catches the attention for them to go into overdrive mode for looking for HIA incidents, even if you get up winded and stumble from a big hit due to lack of air in your lungs they think you are dazed lol (pretty sure it happened earlier this year to a player)...

Well, spill the beans
It was more than 20 years ago & whilst I could tell you the name, I no longer have the date & time, the Tavern has shut & it is no longer able to be proven & it would be putting both myself & this website in jeopardy to name the referee. It was also about 5 computers ago so there are no remnants left.

Still ruled out for tonight though apparently. What kind of bullshit is that
They're a great , team but my god they consistently get this kind of luck in big games, you can't win 4 in a row without it.
They seem to get every bounce of the ball too.. Compare Cleary's charge down bounce with Kiraz's kick through bounce

So what is the situation? Can DSF play on Friday night or not?

Finger in the Eye is Now classed as HIA ? as per yesterday game.
