Major question marks on that. Seemed to be called way too soon. You see the hits were it is clear there is concussion, bloke has no idea where he was. It didn't look like that.

He needs to stay away from the first hit up of the match

Think the club may contest the 11 day stand down, but it is his second one of the year

Glass jaw, put ya head in the right spot son.

If it is confirmed that he did indeed pass a concussion test after the independent Dr has pulled him from the field , questions need to be raised with the nrl by the club. It will really upset a lot of people if club presents facts to whoever is responsible for clearing a player and he is deemed ok to play next week. I have seen far worse where it is obvious there is a problem and the player is not called off until quite a few plays or even a complete set has passed.

Not sure how this works?
Do we fight it or is it 11days no matter what?

You can challenge it. I’d say because he passed the test, he wasn’t concussed, so won’t be subject to the stand down period

Danika said the bunker ruled it cat 1, implying a ref made the call. Unless we're saying the independent doc can assess cat 1 without actually assessing the player? Seems suss

Still ruled out for tonight though apparently. What kind of bullshit is that?

I initially thought he was gone, but he got up almost immediately after being knocked down. I couldn’t believe when they said cat 1 as he wasn’t down for long and gave the thumbs up straight away. I’ve seen far worse looking ones only called cat 2. Then it’s found he did the hia and passed lmao. What a shitshow.

Independent doctor need to take a hit up.

I understand the concern, but this was not clear-cut and the fact that he passed it makes the call even worse. It could have very well changed the result of the game.

So he passed but wasn’t able to come back, do we get some kind of compensation?
