2018: 9 Rounds / 8 Wins / 1 Loss = 1st on ladder.
2011: 9 Rounds / 8 Wins / 1 Loss = 1st on ladder.

2011 they had similar success with an easy start to the season, and then they played most of the top 8 teams.

The result was 1 loss up to Round 12, and then the season fell apart. A draw in Round 13, and then 4 wins and 8 losses, to finish 5th.

They went out in straight sets in the finals.

So ... are Dragons the real deal, or are the ghosts of Oki Choki about to come back to haunt them?

He does
He has played in plenty of losing gfs

Imagine that
We let Ennis our captain go and he wins a prem
We let James go, as our captain
And he wins a prem

Fuck
Jackson anyone?

Arguably the best roster in the game imo.

Just noticed that the Dragons are the only side in the NRL without any injuries at the moment. No doubt that helps them significantly.

Refs helped them big time today
Yeah, they sure did,
I think @Indiandog made a comment in another thread that refs never fuck over broncos or storm

Well, they must have read his comment and decided to prove him wrong

Cause for the first time that I can remember cam smith and his storm team were on the wrong end of the refs whistle.

In saying that, the dragons are looking the goods
Failing injury and rep duties, I can’t see them choking this year unfortunately.
I really despise the fagons

I didnt watch it but we will remember this game for years to come where Storm lost the game due to bad refereeing.

The real deal, every position on that team is firing. Vaughn debelin Graham frizzelle sims are all such handy forwards tough rugged and all have an offload. Hunt is dynamite and so is Widdop all the pressures off him to roam and direct the play. Both halves are great kickers and the hooker and fullback need I say more.
I think they are the real deal , honestly rather them win it then broncos or Melbourne again

When people think of hammering pay they should look at mc Gregory and see how long it' taken him to get the saints where they are now.it doesn't happen over night.
Agreed he was nearly sacked the last few years

No injuries and boy they have had some luck during games.
That no try to JAC changed the game.
Also, i have never ever in my life seen Cam Smith stay down after a tackle. He got hit in the jatz crackers and stayed down, left a whole at marker and the Dragons scored.

Fucking turn it up.

Their forward pack is semi decent.

Widdop/hunt? Not sure if their a top halves pairing but hunt has hit a purple patch.

I think the competition is very ordinary this year...
