Hope this thread is ok?, but I thought that it might be fun/interesting to watch the Dolphins squad take shape for the 2023 season. The team will be updated and positions shuffled as more signings are announced.

As more signings are announced I’ll tweak the squad, make changes and name the best 17 (in my opinion). This is what we know so far.

I saw someone post that the Dolphins are signing Mark Nicholls for 23 and he'll get an early release. I doubt Stone will be starting 9 for the Dolphins. He'll be either a benchie or play the lock role I think. Isaako fullback probably unlikely too. I think after the last 2 years he's had playing wing would be the best thing for him.

I agree mate, I threw him in at 9 to start with but I expect Wayne to sign a more experienced 9.

I agree with those mate, as it stands he is the best No.1 on their books lol but I’m expecting to move him to the wing. The positions will change quite a bit I’d expect. For me, Stone might not even make the 17 when we get into the higher numbers. I’m tempted to add a rumours section under the top 30, hearing that Nicholls and Milford might have signed, but thought it might get a little messy as those rumours can get out of hand.

Ben "Dobbo" Dobbin of the Triple M Rush Hour is reporting that the South Sydney Rabbitohs fan favourite will be following Wayne Bennett north of the border at the end of the 2022 season.

Agree highly unlikely their good in the early years.
Stone looked a very solid hardhitting defender so a spot somewhere in the back row or lock should be a possibility for him.

They just signed Issac Luke Young bloke last week he 15 or 16 still a while of yet on a 3 year deal completely different kind of player to his old man he is lightning quick and can step off both feet he a fullback or half interesting to see progress through the grades

Well it’s in the ‘general’ rugby league section, and as it relates to rugby league, similar to other threads in this area of the forum, I thought some people might like to contribute constructively or it might be interesting to check in from time to time to see how their squad is building. But then again, it might be pointless for some people and I’d expect they would scroll on past and not waste their time looking at the thread. I’m leaving it up to the individual if they want to check it out or not, no arms twisted
