I know Gus doesn't want to overpay and only wants players "that want to be here".

But sometimes, you just need to overpay - and getting Thompson would be far better than Utoikamanu

He,s back from injury and played a bit of NSW cup. So a off season to get him fully up to our level of fitness and work on his defense and errors and we should have a good mid for next season.

I hope this coincides with Amone and Sitilli as this will completely change our forwards and take us to another level.

Hopefull the bonus will be that we will also have another couple of good forwards in the wings with Todd and Underhill ready to fill in unlike having forwards who never really got there in Knight, Faamausili and Patolo as our development pathways start to pay off.

Yeah, I agree completely.
Coming back from an ACL messes with your mind (as much as your knee).
A fully fit Fifita (CC fit - not Bunnies fit) could really help our middles.
Even last year in Reggies, his hit-ups had next level power.
I know he made a shitload of errors , but at least he looked for offloads, unlike Potato who was grandpa-like safety first.
DSF's defensive errors may be the big sticking point with CC - if you can't defend in the system, you're no chance.

And the others are exciting too...

Jack Todd adds pace and skill & he'll be bigger in 25.

And let's hope Tom Amone is the real deal.
We know what Sitili brings. Great to have a 3rd strike player on the edges. Maybe give Kiks a break each game??

If it is deadset between us and Raiders we might be favourites.
Canberra in winter would be like the midlands of England.
Ricky in my opinion is not amongst the best coaches, down in the lower half.
Ciro much better.
They seem to have enough fowards and have all of their pack under contract.
Doggies across the board look more attactive

Leo Thompson has already played for the Raiders in their Jersey flegg team they signed him up from yawnion.

Main reason he’s thinking of leaving apparently is other props leaving he wants some good mentors hed love how we play now seems like hes got a good head on his shoulders
