We Desperately need another alpha prop and a better lock. Max king has went backwards, Bench front rower at best. We have Leo Thompson coming but will need more than that, Who do we sign. Im not convinced on young ones, Could Gus and Ciro get more out of NAS i doubt it, if Bellamy can't don't think anyone can.
Fully agree, our pack is nowhere near good enough and lacks punch. Front row in particular as you say

King dropped of since origin. Can see his trying but his not providing, Thompson will add a dynamic and work in conjunction with King. Mann, Sitili and all the back row did well out halves have to do better now.
I saw an article saying he was sick from mold in his home and has since moved out. When did he move out though? He actually looks sick, his eyes look all funky.

The soft **** has the money to move out and etc earlier, but I think the issue was they didn't know until recently what was causing it all

Fuck the Knights for not just releasing him early to come to us, wasted his time the ***** lol

Tino is so overrated, I wouldn't want him on the money he wants, I'd only pay Haas the kind of money tino wants
We need an Alpha, Tino might be a shit **** person but on the footy field he holds his own and is just hitting his peak.

He's not worth that money though bro, paying him that much will mean we lose from other areas of our team because of salary cap restrictions. If he had Haas output, then yes you'd make allowances

Haas aint leaving QLD. His shit **** mother being in jail has stamped that and the Broncos know it.

I know he's going nowhere, just saying Haas is the only one I'd pay that type of money for

We need to find someone like Mitch Barnett ala when the warriors poached him from newcastle, came for cheap and made his name at the warriors

Thompson is going to be so big for us next year.

If both he and Latu work out then we really could change our pack over night.
I don’t think Latu is a big body, does anyone know. If he is a smaller middle, how many farkin small middles are we gonna fit into our 17.

Just because he's small doesn't mean anything. Erin Clark is 180cm and 98 kg but he runs like a beast and makes a difference

Our forwards plod, except for Sitilli

Yeah I get it

But the warriors have size and aggression in their middles. So balance is key.

The way King and Hughes are going they are not suitable as starting props especially in the finals when the intensity in the middle ramps up

I have no issue with King as a starting prop. For two years he has had to carry Hughes who struggles with leg speed at times and usually a tiny lock who offers no go forward.
For mine King and Thompson will be our starting props, kikau and Preston the edge backrowers. Tupouniua and Hayes in the 17 as well. Salmon, Hayward, Mann, Hughes, Curran, DSF, Todd, Hopoi, Latu, Turpin and Underhill will fight it out for the remaining spots. If Curran can find consistency I would back him at lock. If Mann can play more minutes I would back.him to get a spot.

Interesting he couldn’t make the extended Kiwis squad. Hopefully some fire in the belly

And the money King is on, is perfect for us. It's only around 650k, which for a prop is good value. If he was on closer to 800K that would be a different story. He is signed for another 3 years before he played state of origin this year. Those years should see the end of his playign career here.

Given another prop next to him with go forward, should also see him improve.
