tbh i rated this fella pretty good when he was at penrith (which makes all players who play their look good) but when we were searching for a half back i felt that osullivan wouldve been a good purchase for us. he is well ahead of galvin and should be the starting half back along side burto next year.

yeah no. Galvin should be at 6. Did you not see how good he was individually at 5/8 in the final? Look he's not a 7 but the bloke could be an A grade 6. Personally O'Sullivan OR Woods at 7 and Galvin at 6. Find another role for Burton.

Galvin had 6 on his back but played 7, Ciraldo said this in a podcast.
So you must think Galvin is a good 7 then. :tearsofjoy:

Nope he's not a 7, never will be an organiser, he's a running 6, potentially a very good one. It is Burton OR Galvin in that role, they don't mix together well. Pick a 7 whether it be the gamble on Woods or the safe choice in O'Sulivan only issue I see with the latter is it screams another Toby Sexton situation.

CC has lost a lot of points with me lately I mean the bloke somehow rates Salmon!

O'Sullivan makes the team as a 7 if the plan is for Woods to be taking that role. The point is to have players play in there idea positions for the whole year. So if Galvin is 6, that means Burton is elsewhere in the team. We have seen that Galvin as a 7 is not quite the answer. Maybe a preseason doing that could help, but that means Woods isn't getting the reps then with the first team which is holding him back, when we need him to develop.

Im expecting Galvin/Woods in FG.

Woods will be structured and Galvin plays eyes up.
 
This guy is only a backup, doubt he will be doing a whole lot of mentoring either we need better for that gig(if at all possible).
And he will NOT be in the starting 17 rd 1, this is only slightly less wack than the Tia as f.g fullback take i saw recently lol.
 
What's woods kicking game like ? Long and short. I haven't seen alot of him I just know he has big wraps.

Short and medium very very good. Best we would have had in a long time, maybe since shifty. Havnt seen too much of his long kicks however as the swans were after him assume he can boot it.

He’s a smart kicker, has got himself a few 40/20’s. Not a massive boot but as you’d expect, it’s pretty sharp
