I reckon this is the right call. He’s unproven at fullback and would be asking for too much. Hooker and halves need to be the priority.

Agree, and he might lose any chance of representation if he plays for a dud team that can't win a game.

JAC would be a fantastic “luxury” for us.

whilst we clearly do not have a fullback, half, or hooker, and we a looking like losing our 5/8 who is our only first grade quality player in any of these spine positions, he is a luxury we can not afford...

that said, we need to cut Montoya, Holland, Crichton and Lafai 100%. Perhaps DWZ and Smith too, but we do need to have a squad. Meaney worth keeping only for back up winger / fullback. Okunbor should be given some proper training in defense and given a crack.

If a club were keen to pay at least 85% of DWZ freight I’d be happy to show him the door too.

Heard he was a jerk off the field.
We have some speedsters like Meaney, Smith, Okunbor and Zelezniak but getting them quality ball then getting them to tip toe down the sideline at 70km/h around their opposites is what we need from them.
