LOL that's why I asked. I was hoping he was a winger like TRex was when he made his FG debut. For once I'd like us to have big hulking wingers. I'm sick of midget and skinny wingers FFS
Okunborn and DWZ are hardly midgets and/or skinny.

Good moves by the club, enjoying the videos.

Anyone else see Crichton training as dummy half? Or is this just general skills for wingers given they need to pass off the ground a lot too?

Never really thought about it but he could be a decent hooker if he hones his skills. It's a bit left field but he's strong, quick, low centre of gravity and is used to passing from dummy half on kick returns.

Loved the Baz quip haha. Also his role is exactly what I expected it to be. Let Potter focus on coaching the Cup side, Baz, Sandercock and Furner the first grade side, and focus on the 18-30 and Development players so they’re given a fair shot and not disregarded.
It’s pretty impressive stuff from TBaz he really has put a lot of thought and effort into each appointment with the coaching staff. Each coach has a defined role which I think is very important. I’d love to hear the players real thoughts on the differences between last years coaching staff and the current one.

I realise that, but was it a sneak of something or just coincidence?

Could be a master stroke, could be a disaster but it's an interesting thought.

i dont think so mate, all players in skill work need to know the correct position to address at dummy half. Especially if he is running the ball at dummy half in our red zone

Wishful thinking for some speed and spark out of dummy half maybe

I think it would be a massive difference everyone talks about the recruitment side and how we needed to improve that but underestimate how important a good coaching staff is last couple of years we haven’t looked nearly as fit as the top teams always outmuscled out-enthused meanwhile no player you could say has improved in the bulldogs squad at all over last seasons I’m really glad we’ve had a complete clean out of staff

Yeah for sure - I wouldn't mind hearing from them/ socialising the mid-season and end-of-season reviews. Following the boys on social media for a few years now, this is the first time I've seen them actually posting their training shots with accompanying pain/ difficulty during the strength and conditioning sessions.

The Des era, it seemed as though Des did everything, or at least had a massive influence on every single aspect and minute detail. In the Pay era, God only knows who was doing what, other than telling the boys to "Run hard tackle harder". With Baz, you can clearly see he'll be leading from the front and also reshaping the attack. Furner will be there to sort out the defense and the forwards, Sandercock supporting Baz and working with the backs, Tangata-Toa pathways, Potter the Cup side, Ferris and Portese strength and conditioning. Hansen is also there though I am yet to see what impact he is making on the club, to me, it feels like it is more for the coaches themselves (Which will flow down to the players). They've also spoken about there being no egos and a lot of trust that the same message from the top is being passed down regardless of which coach a player goes to.

The optimism within the club has come from the people inside comparing football operations now under Barrett compared to under Pay. Best decision moving on from Pay and bringing in Barrett with his own team. Pre season under Pay was training 3 days a week with hardly any skill work hence why the club is posting so much more now, they are actually doing so much more. Can’t wait for the season to start.

Have you got a man crush for Tbaz?
I have, nothing wrong with a man crush... I mean can’t not lol, he looks great in the blue and white. Probably looks slick in anything he wears. And as for getting things done... TBAZ is the man
