Rumour Dogs interested in Stefano Utoikamanu!

Can't see guys like NAS or Paulo suiting our culture (too set in their ways) whereas a young guy like Stefano is much more flexible and able to be moulded into exactly what Ciraldo wants him to be

Didn't even dominate Uce, watched live. He would have one run, them stoop over trying to catch his breath for the next 2 sets lol

That’s what I thought. Storm build a strong spine and maybe 1 great winger. And the rest they fill in the spots with value.

Can’t see them splashing 850k on a prop. Also can’t see a young kid going to Melbourne unless he moves his family with him (possibly part of the storm deal to bring his family in and find them work etc).

But you’d have to think storm would know something if they do splash their cash on him. Rarely do they recruit a high priced player badly.

Is imagine if true it means Nelson gone as he is reportedly on 700k I think. Could also be welsh? He’s gone to shit and no doubt on 600kish

Hulking forwards are having lesser and lesser impact with the 6 again. You just can’t get back into the line quick enough and push up in defence for 20-30 tackles in a row. It’s why we are doing so well. We aren’t a tremendous team 1-17. We just had hard working defensive middles who make 35+ tackles a game. And even though they run for 70-110 meters most of our meters especially first 3 tackles are from the back 5.

I doubt saifiti or Nelson or paulo would be prepared to make 35 tackles without missing any and only having 10-12 runs a game. Pretty sure 5 years ago paulo and rcg were some of the best in the game. Same as the saifiti boys. Easily top handful of props in the game. Now they are meh.

Liam will be going to Souths next year I mentioned before he actually was going to leave the dogs mid year to join the titans but spoke to Wayne and he said no supposedly him
And Wayne are very close

Stefano will go to Melbourne he will want to be apart of Craig Bellamy team Craig Bellamy ain’t retiring for a long time every year he says he is that hasn’t happened since he started saying it when Cronk and slater finished there careers

He will go to Melbourne if he doesn't care about moving away from family and/or money. For where his career's at it's the best place for him to go.

We're the best place for him to go. Career + family wise. Save him getting homesick like JAC did. They say Raiders and Dragons have dropped out so less competition for us
 
Surely storm wouldnt offer any more than we would and he stays in Sydney or isn’t gus interested?

Not sure if accurate. But apparently most of his family is in Melbourne. Makes no sense to be honest but apparently they are there. Also he grew up in nz and played for eels in the juniors. So yeh. Might not have huge loyalty to any team in particular or area.

I always thought he was a Sydney boy though. So to read his family is in Melbourne who knows.

There both good players but if you want a young one go for Stefano but he is. It worth a million dollars stick with NAS I would say he Gus wants two more forwards so BIG NELSON and someone else

I also think now the Bulldogs are a far more attractive target, from even 2 months ago, as we are now clearly a top 8 team. With improved performance & culture, comes more interest from other players. It is very clear the current Dogs players are getting on well on field, and put in for each other. Gus may have more recruiting clout now.
