It doesn’t look like the club are signing a new hooker any time soon. More of JMK next season by the looks of it

Actually Melb have long relied on Cam Smith, and struggled when he is missing (even moreso when Cronk and Smith were out). Add to that Slater.

Progressively they are slipping more and more back into the pack along with other sides, and when Cameron Smith finally fucks off and retires, they will be exposed quite a bit.

If Melb have one dud season I reackon Bellamy would retire.

You want some "stats and shit" .......... too easy ................. Bellamy has only coached 2 teams other than Melbourne and his record is;
2005–07 Country Origin Played 3 Won 1 Lost 2 33% win record
2008–10 New South Wales Played 9 Won 2 Lost 7 22% win record

What conclusion can be drawn from the above other than he is not a magician, he needs a good team, a few future immortals helps, in a one team city, the highest (or 2nd highest) TPA's and the largest salary cap breach in NRL history.

What's wrong with them "stats and shit", they are all factual.

You may well choose to misinterpret the above as anything other than pointing out that Bellamy needs to coach somewhere else. Not that he isn't good coach, maybe a great coach, but until he achieves similar without the above "advantages" I don't believe that he can be considered in the same league as the other coaches who have.

Credit for what? The largest salary cap breach in NRL history and still reaping the benefits to this day? The biggest number of premierships removed by the NRL in history?

He's had the gift of a stacked squad almost all his career, and now that those player are starting to slowly disappear, the teams performances are reflecting that. Several games this year Cameron Smith has carried the side to victory.

When Cam Smith goes, Bellamys real test will begin.

He's a overly controlling egomaniac and if Storm look like they are struggling under his leadership, he'll jump ship and retire.

Ahh good to see you agreeing with me.
Bellamy's record when the Storm is removed, is pathetic!
He has built his house around corrupt behaviour, paid a penance for as such in comparison to the success he and his players have enjoyed for their wrong doings and still are a powerhouse despite it being built upon lies, deceit and general bullshit.
Sooner the house of cards falls, the better and be damned News Corp and NRL for propping it up with favours for this long too.
