Man I must be old. I know all of them except Go-Lo. It happening all the time know. So many companies we grew up with are gone.
I used to work at Go-Lo lol... just a part-time retail job while I was studying. It's pretty much a smaller version of the Reject Shop. They did have some good household items at times.

Does anyone remember Mick Simmons sports store on George St.
I remember getting paid cash every Thursday and heading straight there.
What about the Mick Simmons in the industrial area of Condell Park. I got my first Berries jersey from there... and a few pairs of football boots over the years.

I never went to the Condell Park store.
It was a place that you could buy practically anything sports related.

Tbh I’m not even sure, wouldn’t think so it was so many years ago
Do you remember the store.
Of course I remember it my bro, one of my favourite shops ever.

I get all my All Blacks and NFL stuff from them.

Sorry I'm not sure why it didn't work - just fixed the link.

Companies like:
  • Copperart
  • Bi Lo (a supermarket, I can't believe I forgot that one)
  • Franklins
  • Go-Lo (I used to work there lol)
  • Grace Bros (before rebranding to Myer)
  • Tandy Electronics (WOWSERS!)
Remember action? Super markets ? Horrible shirts .. does anyone remember that shop around 2001-2003 it was kinda like a mix between city beach and jay Jay’s and the front of the shop was like a mouth or something .. similar to like a tribal look? Sold the brand oxide and dada , etc

Franklins I grew up with. They occasionally sold random things like Aldi too. Not a lot, but I’m pretty sure that’s where I got a pair of Mohamed Ali boxing gloves. They were a good cheap supermarket.
And had huge cardboard box thingoes at the front to put your groceries in

Are they just online these days?

I remember as an 18 year old when I first moved to the "big smoke", I went to the city store and was amazed at the range of jerseys there.
