Hayward actually plays a very integral role for us at Lock. Ex half who digs right into the line before passing. It’s crucial to give the halves space.
I would be surprised if he isn’t in the 17 round 1. He offers a lot more to the team than Kurtis Morrin.
Not shocked posters here think he is “average” with no YouTube clip and Polynesian name it’s hard to get overly hyped about this integral fit smart football player

Good post bro, I like the lad and he has a red hot I'm sure CC loves this fact.

I'm talking about Hayward but yes he seemingly likes Salmon definitely.
I did like it when jaemon did actually have a red hot crack when he broke his jaw on the charge down he actually did score a couple try’s aswell.

So what would your bench be ?

The thing I didn’t like when watching why would you give up a tackle and just drop on the floor not even offer anything it’s like look left right see players and just give up!!!

I wonder if he plans on using DSF this year

He plays a good link man and adds some cohesion in attack when it is often lacking. However, as Marley points out, he's not a threat running the ball.

He gets defensive sets off to a good start though.

Mahoney would benifit from playing fewer minutes. He can make mistakes playing 80 and trying to create something.
Mahoney it like a targeted man he should know this now he needs to concentrate on the game not act out his mouth can get us in shit but damm he can go and tackle how many did he make over 1000

Probably one of the most improved players we have. He is an ideal bench player.
I would agree with that he has improved for sure but I don’t know now having these other guys very hard to see him in the 17

I can see merit with pretty much everything said both for and against concerning Hayward ..... definitely on the fence.

However, i think defensively we are a better team with him on the field especially on the back of Burtons kicks ..... the line speed when Bailly and Reed are on can be very stifling for the opposition.

Also remember CC is a defensive minded coach.

Rubbish @ lock, should primarily be used to sub with Mahoney otherwise there's no need to carry him and his non existent ball carrying threat.
I know you secretly want Salmon in the team :tearsofjoy: . . .but Hayward will be the 14
