    The club would have had legal advice before making that decision. Probably sacked on the grounds of gross misconduct.

    pfftt.......... club makes 1 million in any given Friday through pokies.

    our average crowd attendance will double for every game, we will make extra 1 million in first 5 games without Des.

    give him his million dollars in two dollar coins and by throwing them all at once at the imposter coach.

    Even if the payout happens, they will make that up through memberships, merchandise and larger crowds.

    For anyone who knows how these things work it's going to cost Des a truckload to battle it out in court then even if he did win go after costs. In all likelihood the dogs have done their homework and will work out an out of court settlement. Anything less than a maximum payout is still a win for us. I'm sure Hasler would rather take a quicker cash out than have it drag on for months. Other clubs may be concerned about that as a distraction before offering him a new contract. Who wants that negative publicity. Win win if you ask me

    If you listened to Haslers pre game interview for one of the last few games, i dont recall which one, he knew he was gone then. Fittler asked him if he would be coaching the bulldogs next year and his response was odd when you look back now....he said something like, " well yes because i have a 2 year contract", which is the obvious response but he knew he was gone as did Fittler...

    It is the breath if fresh air the club needed...thank christ it finally happened

    what worries me is that they haven't done their homework and it was a dib ploy to try to secure next year's election

    Some some fat kebab eaters wearing track suits to his house at 3am telling him to back down or get fucked up.

    That will sort the cunt out.

    Dogs 100% had legal advice before they sacked him, not silly! Will cost Hasler a shitload to fight it, and I'm pretty sure the pokies at the leagues club will have more money than des....

    Funnily enough, that's not considered legal tender.
    From the RBA;
    A payment of coins is a legal tender throughout Australia if it is made in Australian coins, but this is subject to some restrictions about how much can be paid in coin. According to the Currency Act 1965 (section 16) coins are legal tender for payment of amounts which are limited as follows:

    • not exceeding 20c if 1c and/or 2c coins are offered (these coins have been withdrawn from circulation, but are still legal tender);
    • not exceeding $5 if any combination of 5c, 10c, 20c and 50c coins are offered; and
    • not exceeding 10 times the face value of the coin if $1 or $2 coins are offered.

    Weidler can't find his backside with both hands and a GPS. Does anyone believe this?

    Weedler = germ

    Now Hooper will feed off Weedler's scraps and put another spin on this "we are hearing Hasler has a Tolman clause like Bennett and Darius"

    Things have not been handled well at the club for a while now, but surely they would have dotted the I's and crossed the T's on this one.

    On my analysis the club will be cutting a fat cheque to Des. But who cares.
