I can't find any reference to the trip by a Knights player in the early stages of the game. There is nothing in the media, or the NRL's official website. Has this gone unnoticed? Or was it deemed OK?

They do everything to try and cheat, tripping, sledging in the scrum, spy camera's and propaganda, they should be bought into line.

It wasn't Reynolds so fair game
It was noticed by Fox. The commentators couldn't believe that not one official at the ground noticed it; but it was quickly forgotten, and not referred to again.

Channel 9 commentators picked it up straight away and even showed a replay of it. That was pathetic, I can't believe they got away with it.

That and the "missed" knock on at 77 minute mark were disgraceful.

Yeh it was 100% a trip. Bloke slipped over before RFM got to him, RFM went around and the bloke kicked his legs out to take him down. Should be fined.

Find it amusing that they all missed that trip yet manage to get this penalty for being out of the play fukin rule that seems to have fallen from the sky this year!

MATA'UTIA ON TRIPPING CHARGE

The NRL Match Review Committee has charged Newcastle's Peter Mata'utia for an alleged trip on the Bulldogs' Raymond Faitala- Mariner in the first minute of Sunday's match. He faces a fine of $1100 with an early guilty plea or one of $1500 if he fights and loses. He will not miss a match over the grade one charge.

So they did see it....2 days later lol. Once upon a time tripping was one of the worst offences you could do on a footy field...up there or worse than biting, not sure why they have watered down the punishment for this as it's a dog act (no pun intended). That's why Reynolds lost me a couple of years ago!
