The best way to describe him is the second coming of Tolman. He’s no where near explosive enough for the back row and needs to bulk up if he wants to play front row.

His not that bad... Been watching the kid for the last 2 yrs in reggies. His a stand out in reserves and if his nothing but a reggies fill in then probably shouldn't be to disappointed.
If he was around 21-22 I wouldn’t mind the signing but at 25 the ship has almost sailed. There’s not much up side to him at that age if he hasn’t already shown something.

He is terrible. He is not an upgrade on what we got.

We have a lot worse players in our current squad of 30. If he’s filling positions 25-30 then meh it’s a minimum wage contract nothing to get upset about.

Apparently had several long term injuries while at the Storm. Didn’t really have that much of an opportunity. Will he be a star probably not, could he do a job for us probably.

Seriously? We have blokes who can’t even play Reggie’s for us. Our top 30 sucks balls for depth
We need players in our backline and spine.

Than we need depth players in our backine and spine.

We should not be signing any new forwards for next year unless it is Welch, Flegler or Burgess

Not scared to get amongst it. Lighter version of napa. Looks a young 25. We have worse players in our top 30.
Is playing with more intent and aggression than any of ow players. Think thats got to do with the difference between pay and bennet. Sack pay lol.
Thanks. His stats were solid and played 50 plus minutes which is a good sign. 13 runs, 123 metres, 4 tackle breaks, 35 tackles, 3 missed. 0 offloads...

He can't be Darren's son! Darren would have had 3 offloads per half. He was one of the best ball playing props of his era.

True but then again there are late bloomers... At the end of the day if his a cheapie to take Tualau's spot I wouldn't be too bothered considering we need players to fill in the spots who can manage both grades when called upon. Not expecting big things....

Pipe dreams are great to have. To get those players mentioned you would have to pay overs. You also need players to want to move for opportunities yet those mentioned are already getting that at their clubs. Didn’t Welsh just blow out his knee? Sounds like a great signing

These are minimum signings if true for squad depth in case of injury or form. People get their nickers in a knot way to much over the minimum wage signing the club does

How do you know we have to pay overs?

If they do not want to come or if they are too expensive, so be it. Move on.

You dont sign these duds just for the sakes of it. Re-sign what you got on a 1 year deal, and at the end of the day those forwards would not be in demand anyways.

We have Roumanos kid who looks good, so he should be promoted next year along with To'omaga who should be given a shot next year.

Welch blew his knee and whats your point? Tedesco blew his knee out twice along with RTS. DCE blew his knee out, Hodgson blew his knee out, Foran has blown everything from head to toe.

Welch would definitely be a great signing. The bloke is switched on, off and on the field and he definitely is not your first class boofhead. Kid has smarts

I don't think anyone would complain about Stimson and Britt in a vacuum.

When you factor in who is being moved on (RFM and Martin) and who is being kept (Elliott and co) then it's clear Pay doesn't want skillful second rowers and wants a team full of workers from the country. He even benches our best attacking forward in CHN in games when we're chasing points. So people are dubious as to our style of play and what the vision is...

Also factor in the angst over not signing a hooker, centres and wingers and another half or fullback when there is so much young talent at other clubs that can't get a run then you can see why people are getting anxious.

If these two signings are followed up with a good young hooker, a promising centre and some other exciting prospects then I'm sure we'll all be more positive. Hopefully some more exciting signings are announced soon.

What a stupid analysis.

Your minimum wage players are the ones who get promoted from your junior grades to first grade, and not other clubs unwanted trash.

Sign me up a player who does not get injured.

You make Welch sound like the Stanley Brothers
