Apparently stan are also bidding for all NRL games now too

That would make sense given Stan is 100% owned by Nine (post Fairfax acquisition) and they’ve spent some time getting the runs on the board with Stan Sport, and having won EPL gives them cred for NRL. A joint FTA/Streaming bid with Nine/Stan would make sense and keep it in Aussie hands too. You can bet DAZN will strongly defend its position though having just paid a fortune for Foxtel - it couldn‘t afford to lose the NRL, who will be rubbing their hands together at the prospect of how much a new deal will be worth with new digital suitors. Dirty, filthy, money.

From a personal point of view I hope stan gets it, as it saves having different streaming services for epl and nrl
