London Broncos put an extremely difficult week behind them on Sunday with a record 72-8 victory over Wakefield, but the club must overcome several major hurdles this week off the field.

News broke on Sunday morning that the Broncos’ new signing from Melbourne Storm, forward Danny Williams, has allegedly refused to take an RFL doping test, and will face a Rugby Football League tribunal on 9 March.

The RFL is also still at odds with London over their attempts to sign New Zealand international Vinnie Anderson.

With London poised to announce an agreement with creditors over a voluntary agreement to pay back their mounting debts, one other club who are keen on signing Anderson – believed to be Bradford Bulls – have objected to the RFL over the Broncos spending money they may not have.

i heard on the radio this morning that the reason he didnt take the drug test is because he isnt signed with any club at the moment and was advise by his manager no to do it cos it couldve spoiled his chances of getting a contract. he was tossing between plaaying for broncos or playing for a french team.
the radio station were talking to ceo of the broncos and he said he did the right thing by not taking it.
