I love how opposition fans are questioning our cap. The fact that we had to spend 95% of the salary cap meant we had to over pay for players to come here. Allan, Flanagan & Stimson would be a prime example.

Very wrong the salaries quoted. Thompson, Cotric, Allen and Flanagan could be let go in any event to be compliant. That....or a couple of them win $50k jackpots at one of Arties pubs. Those alone could easily cover the equivalent to 3 or so min wage players salary. Long service was 200k and TPA's can be anything so that free's up SC space... Vaughan and Dufty are on 1 year contract's so any speculation about 2023 is just fart in the wind.

To be honest if we have to shred some players in the future but we have managed to address the issues in the forwards and spine then so be it, we will be better off in the long term not getting rolled through the middle and actually being able to put on points
