I love how opposition fans are questioning our cap. The fact that we had to spend 95% of the salary cap meant we had to over pay for players to come here. Allan, Flanagan & Stimson would be a prime example.

We are on our way to the top after so many lean years.

Very wrong the salaries quoted. Thompson, Cotric, Allen and Flanagan could be let go in any event to be compliant. That....or a couple of them win $50k jackpots at one of Arties pubs. It's very much a team effort to put together a roster like this. You need a committed benefactor, a vision, a well connected and regarded manager of football, a sprinkle of gold dust and plenty of mirrors.
I'm glad Sloshfield is spewing. Can't imagine what his ongoing rift with Gus is doing to his blood pressure. Suck it up Slosh.

Bunch of cut mofos....

They can blow us.
The typical BS. We buy quality after offloading a number of players, some well and truly on overs, and the questions start on our cap. But top teams can sign ad nauseam with nary an inch of news column... not to mention the impact of the whole overs/unders rort. Do they think that given our history we'd be rorting the cap?

Talked to all of these c%nts who are suppose to be in the know but not a single mention about TPA or long service allowance? Those alone could easily cover the equivalent to 3 or so min wage players salary. Long service was 200k and TPA's can be anything so that free's up SC space... Vaughan and Dufty are on 1 year contract's so any speculation about 2023 is just fart in the wind.

Neutral option with hetho and jmk too. Think that means we can free up more from them
If we have to. Wouldn’t mind hetho staying but another ban might change
My mind haha
Hopefully they use him on the left edge and he causes some havoc. Then he'll be worth keeping. He's probably less likely to take heads off playing there too.

The telegraph should be under pressure to print a rugby league story based on fact.

To be honest if we have to shred some players in the future but we have managed to address the issues in the forwards and spine then so be it, we will be better off in the long term not getting rolled through the middle and actually being able to put on points
