Police, NRL probe ex partner's fresh allegations

And for that alone he deserves a Noble peace prize, the Dally M and the Australian of the Year award. Can only remember Scott scoring that 1 nearly length of the field try. Apart from that and snotting Dylan Walker I've drawn a blank on him doing anything memorable on the field. And that was 4 years ago. Wouldn't think he'd have improved any since that time. Eels are welcome to him.
Playing for The Scum is hardly a redeeming feature.Curtis Scott seems to be a bloke without a single redeeming feature. If he wasn't a footy player he'd be in prison by now.
What’s the issue with doing toe to toe with another bloke ?On a side note, she's stunning.
Alas, why has this taken 4 years to come up. Seems a little odd.
Either way zero time nor respect for anyone that hits another person (male or female). Sort your shit out with words not fists.
He's just a fuk wit that has been fed with a silver spoon his whole life. Never has been truly held accountable for his actions.Something seriously wrong with this kid.
It achieves nothing. Even if you are defending yourself and belt three shades of shit out of someone, these days they end up sueing you, or you end up fighting an Assault Grevious Bodily Harm charge or something.. it's simply not worth it.What’s the issue with doing toe to toe with another bloke ?
This is the golf course I am a member of. I wasn't there at the time, but the Head professional told me this morning the arrest was done with a minimum of fuss.Former NRL star Curtis Scott has been charged with historical domestic violence offences after being arrested in the middle of a golf game.
Scott, 24, was playing at a golf course in Barden Ridge on Wednesday evening when officers arrived and took him into custody.
The former Melbourne Storm and Canberra Raiders player is accused of assaulting his former girlfriend Tay-Leiha Clark on multiple occasions in 2018. An apprehended violence order (AVO) was also taken out by NSW Police on behalf of and for the protection of Ms Clark.

Scott was arrested about 6pm and taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with two counts of intentionally choking a person with recklessness, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, stalk or intimidate, and three counts of common assault.
Police sources said it would be alleged in court that Scott had physically assaulted Ms Clark in multiple ways, including choking her.

He was granted conditional police bail to appear in Sutherland Local Court next Wednesday, January 12.
Scott lost his job with the Raiders at the end of last year following a number of off-field indiscretions and poor on-field performances.
There had been suggestions he would be offered a career lifeline by the Parramatta Eels, however this latest incident may end his playing days for good.

Scott signed a four-year deal with the Raiders in 2020 but his time at the club came to an abrupt end last August.
“The board decided that Curtis’s prior behaviour and recent assault charge have brought the club into disrepute, and they could not ignore this and the responsibilities that his NRL playing contract entails,” the Canberra Raiders said.

Tay Clark made a series of cryptic posts on Twitter.
He was previously charged with assaulting police in an early morning incident in January 2020, but those charges were thrown out and NSW Police ordered to pay his $100,000 legal bill.

Garbage player , who cares ?Curtis Scott has reportedly been handed an NRL lifeline after being sacked by the Raiders three months ago.
According to 7NEWS the talented centre has agreed terms to a one-year-deal with the Parramatta Eels.
The 24-year-old’s contract was torn up with two years left to run in the midst of an assault charge.
Scott has pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm after an alleged incident with a 31-year-old man at a Canberra nightclub on May 30.
While his court case is ongoing, he will reportedly link up with his new teammates as early as next week, adding to the Eels outside-back stocks.
“They’re a smart club, they’ve obviously done their homework, they’ve been presented with his current situation - they’ve picked him up cheaply, let’s not deny that,” Reporter Michelle Bishop told SEN radio on Wednesday morning.
“He went and took a labourer’s job straight up (after his Raiders sacking). He didn’t sit at home and kick stones, he rolled his sleeves up and thought ‘I’ve got to do something with myself’.
“He’s been getting some counselling, some professional help. That’s a process, there’s no end date there, but they’ve given him a lifeline”.
The Raiders dumped Scott in August, after the most recent event stating “prior behaviour and recent assault charge has brought the club into disrepute”.
On Australia Day last year Scott was also accused of assaulting two police officers. Scott was tasered by NSW police and charegd with resisting arrest before the case was eventually thrown out of court.
Scott is a premiership winner and debuted for the Storm in 2017, playing 48 games and scoring 18 tries.
He also played 23 games for the Raiders before his sacking, scoring three tries.
