We signed Curran for 2 years meaning he is free to negotiate with other clubs from November 1. I’m sure it’s already in the works, but sign him up and upgrade him now!!!! He doesn’t seem to have a problem with his bench role and the impact he has for us is enormous. In this day and age I reckon he is easily worth 600k+ for us.

Which means they don't have as much value to other sides still relying on big forwards for metres.
So they're unlikely to get mega-offers from other clubs.
And playing for the dogs will genuinely be a reward in itself.
All the promises Gus and Ciraldo made to these guys when signing them have been delivered. They can see the likelihood of top 4 finishes from next season on if they stay with dogs.
I don't think many of these guys on short contracts will be leaving.

My thoughts exactly. They're proving to be seasoned professionals who are delivering on what our recruitment team believed they would. They're not elite in their positions but I'm happy they are partly the reason we are winning and not getting flogged when we are losing.
