He was poor early on, but he is an important batsman in the side now & makes the top & middle order look like fools regularly. Got to give him credit here. Webster seems to have been a find as well.

It's a strong Australia A side with I think 4 players who have played for Australia before whereas the SL is full of young guys. You can only perform against the opposition you are given, I guess.

There were about 10 overs to go with plenty of wickets in hand, so maybe you could say, playing the team game. He scored 80 off 84 in that knock & followed up with a ton in the second game. Unbelieveably, SL smashed us in the second game. Maybe he will make a comeback if he keeps going as you say.

One of my favs. Selectors really have been biased and foolhardy handling some of these guys...and now look where we are...

Renshaw can bat anywhere in the top 6 and is good in the field, particularly in slips.

Foolhardy by letting older players go on too long and letting them decide their own end dates.
 
solid lead of 82 runs but probs the worst time to be starting the 2nd innings
 
not looking great at 5 for 69 with a lead of 151 runs
