that post was nullified by coven who proved it to you and you accepted it, so i decided instead to search for some porn right away

but why are you laughing and wanting to reopen this situation? this is a win for me and im glad to talk about it and prove it to you again

this is like if a west tigers supporter wanted to talk about their 0-38 loss against us trying to argue that they aren't a bad team
And the delusion continues.
Nullified? @COVENS post and my response to it made a mockery of what you argued for days. Hope you enjoyed Debbie does Dinosaurs (again) :-).

merck has US$1.2 Billion on the table from the US Government if they can get its antiviral covid treatment molnupiravir approved, and it will be approved

U.S. signs $1.2 billion deal for 1.7 million courses of Merck's experimental Covid drug (cnbc.com)

so if ivermectin comes in and prevents covid infection by 83-86% then it would be incredible but the problem is it will also prevent merck getting $1.2B by 100%, so they are against it

do you want me to prove to you that ivermectin is off patent as well?, this is widely reported as happening in 1996 btw, so do you accept that anybody can come in and make cheap versions and undercut them?, which part now don't you understand?

does this count as evidence that merck is much better off financially if ivermectin goes away?

(correct answer: yes)

ivermectin not being backed by anyone makes its case stronger, since the push to use it can't be attributed to big pharma behind the scenes trying to make money

It's pretty wild. Ignore all the window dressing of conspiracies and corporate greed, there's literally no reason Ivermectin shouldn't be being explored as treatment and that's saying nothing about the numbers of its use as a preventative.

It is being explored as a treatment.

BTW, this is the major ongoing trial testing Ivermectin and other treatments. If you live in the UK, you can sign up for it. But it'll be a double blind so no guarantee you'll get Ivermectin.

Right, so what you’re suggesting is:

- The US Government is prepared to bankroll a $1.2b grant for an experimental Covid drug, even though it ‘knows’ Ivermectin already works.

- Merck, with no valid patent for Ivermectin (and hence no immediate profit beyond the grant) does this in the open and hopes nobody notices - and - issues a statement to not use Ivermectin ONLY because it can’t immediately profit from it.

You realise how absurd that is, right?
Are you sure you’re not a Tigers supporter? :-).

Poor grammar: what I meant to say was that it should be being used as a treatment and explored as a preventative to at least rival Molnupiravir.

Why is that absurd?
Because it’s looney conspiracy territory.
With zero evidence, it’s being proposed that a ‘corrupt’ government is allowing a ‘corrupt’ Pharma company to get away with daylight robbery. All in the open. As if.

Zero evidence is fair, but that's the place where a lot of these things start.

There's a bit of colouring in to do, but the line work is there - you're acting as if corporations and governments have never been corrupted or had vested interest.

absolutely im suggesting this, first of all the politicians are there just to figure out ways to extract tax payer money to themselves usually VIA lobbying money, iraq war they knew it would kill many people, spiral the country into debt, they did it for no reason other than to extract more money than they can under normal conditions, special situations like that and the 2008 financial crisis, this is like christmas for politicians

merck not only can't profit from it, it specifically takes away $1.2B
