Players that cant adjust laterally in defence have become targets to attacking teams more so with the new rules - Waddell, Napa - even other clubs are finding that out - Kane Evans, Tamou, Liam Knight etc

There is literally no one else to replace waddle with unless you wanna see more of Stimson

He is putrid with ball in hand and until yesterday was ok defensively .

You can see baz has changed his tune this year due to the lack of quality in positions and Waddell being a squad player is easily replaced if there is someone better , there just isn’t atm

And please don’t suggest antoni

We play possession football with little or no imagination and rely on effort than enterprise to keep us in games and for a team that’s limited that’s all we can hope for this year and it means putting up with crap.

This. The bloke obviously has a future at the club, its time to start giving him a proper go and getting him ready. I know people are saying leave him at Mounties so he can play 80 minutes every week. Yeah fair enough. But he can play 80 mins in first grade too - he showed that a few weeks back. Even if he plays 40-50 mins in first grade i think he'll be learning more than he will paying 80 in reggies in a team steered around the park by Floppagin and Lewis
