Former NRL star Corey Norman is facing a lengthy ban for allegedly trying to stick his finger between the legs and up the backside of an opposition player in the Super League.
Norman was placed on report for the incident last week while playing for Toulouse in their 32-18 loss to the Warrington Wolves.
It is alleged he poked the backside of Wolves player Oliver Holmes.
Norman is set for a hefty suspension after the Rugby Football League charged him with a high Grade F contrary conduct charge, which carries a suspension of at least eight games, but Norman could be banned for longer.
The Sun reports Norman was caught on camera reaching between Holmes’ legs as he made a tackle and was placed on report by the referee.
“Details on his record state it is for ‘inappropriate contact,’ and Sun Sport understands it is for trying to insert his digit where it was not wanted,” the report states.
A hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday night in England.
Norman’s likely suspension would be a major blow to Toulouse’s hopes to avoid relegation.
