Oh what a suprise .... Jack De Bellend comes down with a mysterious upper respiratory infection and is out of the trial game this weekend.

Is Kasiano injured or dropped? Storm give nothing away on their site (no pre season pictures or anything).

Most sides have named the entire Top 30 squad effectively. Bummer they are played at the same time though.

I think I'll watch:
FRI: Warriors vs Storm - keen to see how new halves go, and how Storm go without Slater and Cronk.
SAT: Dogs vs Raiders - Can't miss that.
SAT: (at similar time) Dragons vs Knights - to hopefully see Knights choke and splutter.
SAT: Sharks and Sea Eagles - to see Desball.

Dogs vs Raiders I've now seen advertised as 6pm (Dogs site), 5:30pm (as above), 5pm (Raiders site).

Try Warriors... through #25 (winger) after Storm #5 came in early on wing and got caught out.

Warriors 6
Storm 0

LMFAO Eisenhuth bombs a certian try for Storm dropping it cold. Walters for Storm looks sharp.

Storm still dirty as fuck with their tackling techniques. Seen at least one arm bar and one head lock so far.

Hoping Hayze Perham from Warriors gets into open space in this game... bloke can motor.

Kelma Tuilagi was try scorer for Warriors.

Burr looking in top shape out there for Warriors. Chris Sate #10 for Warriors looks quite mobile and with an offload in him.

Storm lacking direction without Cameron Smith.

Good to see Sandor Earl back on the rugby league field. Should have been back much sooner.

Bellamy won't be happy at the moment. Is this relatively close to their expected first grade squad?

Narrow escape for Storm then.. almost conceeded another try.

HALF TIME

Warriors 6
Storm 0

I'm suffering here because I'm watching via the Melb Storm site (why? Because I figure fuck all Storm fans will be watchnig so more bandwidth for meeee). Just had a mad wank of an ad for Billy Slater promoting membership.

Kelma Tuilagi was try scorer for Warriors.
Neria Fomai according to stream, Kelma according to commentators.

Supercoach Bellamy and his dodgy ways are going to shown up by this very average Storm side (possibly as early as this season). I bet he retires the same year Cameron Smith does.

Couldn't fix George Rose, couldn't fix Kasiano. Has ridden on the coat tails of an illegally formed side for so many years.

Alright I’m here and home finally, what have I missed? Seems like fuck all :tearsofjoy:
Eisenhuth bombing a try the likes of which I haven't seen for a few years. That's about it.

Comparison of projected NRL.COM Round 1 Team Lists with players playing this trial removed.

Warriors missing their entire first grade backline, hooker, and almost entire front row/second row.
Storm missing centre/winger on one side, on halves player, and some front row/second row players.

Storm - Missing approx 9 players.
Warriors - Missing 12 players.

Papenhauyzen just cost his side a try being a ball hog. Warriors hooker Cook binned for professional foul.

HOWS THAT WORK? How can they bin the guy and not give Storm a penalty??? Or did I miss something?
