Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has a 50gb day one update on top of the 55gb install for physical copies. Supposedly though after 30% of the update is downloaded you'll be able to play Blackout mode aka battle royal while the rest is downloading.

On top of 115gb with CoDBO4 (the recommended room they suggested) plus the 105gb for Red Dead Redemption my hdd gonna take a hit.
FMD games these days are too big. Next rig I get (which probably won't be for a couple of years) will have a 4TB HDD minimum.

That's ridiculous.. 500GB and even 1TB consoles copping a hiding these days.

Randomly picked up Blops 4 today. Started installing the game at lunchtime then went back to work. The Mrs realised what I was doing so she's decided that she's going to spend all night watching TV in the gaming room.

I don't have high hopes for the game but I've honestly loved the last few CODs. Especially Blops 3. Mainly loved the single player though and it's a pity this one doesn't have single player but I'll still give it a good bash. I enjoyed the multiplayer beta after a few goes so I'm sure I'll enjoy this more.

I'm picking up my copy after I finish work this morning. Then I'll install it, go to sleep while the 50gb download update installs and hopefully when I get up I should be good to go.

Instead of having a single player campaign they are having like what Rainbow Six did with "Situations" for each specialist.

They scrapped the full campaign mode to focus more with the multiplayer and to add the Battle Royal mode. To be honest I'm ok with not having a proper campaign if they are going to beef up multiplayer.

Also Zombies looks pretty good too this CoD.

Anyhow, might see you on the battlefield!

Possinly not considering that I'm playing on Xbone.

Tried to give it a go last night. After about 5 minutes I jumped on Battlefield 1. Not saying I had any problem with Blops, just saw people on BF1 so I had to jump on for a shoot.

I tried that black ops last night as the boy bought it.
Playes some mode you jump out of a plane or something and you collect stuff. After 5 minutes i puched kingroose out revived him just to punch him dead.
Graphics are terrible .didn't like it one bit

I played a bit of that in the beta. Didn't mind it. It's just battlegrounds but faster and more accessible. I've only played one game of team death match since I bought the game. Topped the table but my team still lost 'cause they sucked.

We had the same thing last night in Battlefield. Got top team, we were all the top 4 players, but we lost by a decent margin. Sucky team.

After playing a fair few hours of Black Ops 4 I'll say this.... It's pretty crap

The normal multiplayer is a mix between R6: Siege, Overwatch and Counterstrike but not as fun as any of those games. The class system is a good idea but the maps are too small and the game is too fast to appreciate them beyond randomly firing off your abilities whenever they are ready. The only mode that comes close to R6: Siege is the Search and Destroy mode as the lack of spawning makes it feel a little more controlled, but instead you find players running off on their own and spin shooting anything that moves. So it plays more like Counterstrike.

The other issue is the balance. Some of the abilities are way overpowered (like the dog) while others are complete rubbish.

Zombie mode is fun as always but it's not that different to every other zombie mode.

Blackout is good. It's a direct rip-off of PUBG but faster and more arcadey. The main issue I have with Blackout is the wait time. Some matches started within 10 minutes. One match I waited 2 hours to start. Others I waited an hour. While waiting you can run around the map and learn the map while testing out weapons but you can't shoot anyone and it gets boring fast.

Also, if you don't have an Xbox One X then don't buy this game. I mainly played it on the X but I tested it on the S for fun. On the S while playing Blackout the resolution is below Standard Definition. I couldn't tell the difference between a building and a person.

Overall I'd rate the game 5/10

Dead average multiplayer, long queue times, no single player campaign saved only by Blackout mode if you can actually get into a game.

I was quite surprised that I disliked it so much. All the reviews coming out are saying that it's the best COD ever.

One reviewer pointed it out well though. He said, "If you don't like other COD multiplayer games then you're not going to like this". I think that was my problem. I always love the campaigns but hate the multiplayer with the exception of BLOPS 3 which was still crap but the double jump and wall running made it more fun. It was like a crapper version of Titanfall.
