Not sure maybe they’ll take a couple of smaller drawing games there? Doesn’t sound like there will be many at BankWest though.
Agree. Based on the comments it seems games that might pull smaller crowds (eg: Cowboys or Warriors if played in Sydney) are the most likely to be played at BW. Majority of home games will remain at ANZ.

One of the obvious, at least to me, features of the Dogs teams on field performances from HM to FG over the last two or three years was the regular physical dominance other teams had. Even games which the dogs would win. The effort was generally there but the frequency of other teams breaking tackles, offloading suggested that either technique or strength, or both, was lacking.
100% agree.
Like you said, even games we were winning, we werent rolling up the field easily like the opposing teams seemed to do to us.
We werent dominant in tackles, slowing the play the ball, etc
Hope this changes!

Our metres gained and miss tackles has been average/atrocious the last few years. When you lose all your best players that's probably the result to be fair. I still like our forward pack, I just think we're missing one top prop (hello Leniu).

You are correct - but it was across all grades including age divisions in which the Dogs sides often had size advantage.

That's right. I remember reading somewhere that our overall defensive stats this year were atrocious - in terms of metres conceded, failing to lock up the ball, players falling off tackles, etc. Good on Baz for recognising this and starting with the basics.

I thought he said in the SEN interview he did this week that his preseason didn't start till the 30th. Good to see him there early

Barrett showing the Halves the *simple* play of draw your man in running correct lines, create an opening/offload to a running at speed forward. Poor bloke has his work cut out teaching some the very basics
Current halves probably scratching their heads "But Deano told us all we have to do is run hard and tackle hard and everything else will look after itself"

Lewis would've been mind blown. Like when Jackie moon discovered the alley oop
