Was lambasted on here when i mentioned him in a seperate thread.

Im all for it. Ive seen enough poor positioning from Tracey to declare him a non -progress FB.

The only options moving forward are Pappy and Gutho and id take either. Pappy still has acceleration. Gutho probably has better durability.

Both have experience, footy smarts and ball playing ability to improve on Tracey. Gutho probably one of the best 1on 1 defenders which Tracey is not.

Take your pick. Im leaning towards Pappy but he'll be more expensive. Definitely more liked.
 
If he comes to the dogs, sorry boys! I jinxed it. My brother asked me 10 minutes before this came out for a player that I didn’t want at the dogs and I said Gutho
 
Knowing our luck…. We need some big boppers up front & we’ve missed out on all the big names the past 18months, but we’ll probably sign Gutho

Rooster needs some centres. 2 years with Eel chipping in for 2025 not the worst. Maybe Dragon instead of Sloan who's very inconsistent. Besides that probably off to the Super League.
 
I think he's be a good buy, considering he plays injured for his team when they need him. He'd be reliable with the right team.

the only team i can see taking him is the dragons, sloan to wing.
 
He annoys the absolute shite out of me. Ok that's out!

He is a 110% effort player that never leaves it in the shed. His desperate defence no doubt has stopped heaps of try's. He is always around the ball and involved in pretty much most things that happen.

I like Tracey, he's a hitting above his weight type of player and as someone else mentioned....bit of an early Patten type.

SO, the question to me is.. Are we going to sign a high-class Halfback? If not, then you need a FB that is well above average and most likely a marquee to offset and he has to be an attacking one. Is Gutho this? Yes he is!

As for his body and injuries...that's the medical departments job to decide.
 
I hate the blokes face but he will show up every time we make a break. His football IQ is up there with the best, no doubt that if he goes to the Dragons he will replace Sloan who's dog shit and worse than Duffty. He will provide that leadership and work well with Hunt.

Yeah the stats don’t look that different and he’d be on a third of the coin
 
I would take
Him but he is way too expensive. He does score a lot and and kick too but too much money it would have to be all third party deals
