Hey All,

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of Asics Kayanos for a decent price?

Looks like full retail price is $250
Online standard price is $200

I'm looking to pay around $150-170 max

The best pair of runners I've owned were the Kayano gel 18's. But I cant find them anywhere. Not sure if the new ones are the same.

I'm looking for the same thing.

Kogan have some sizes but not all.

Don't go with StringersSports in Melbourne.

I placed an order with them recently for Gel Kayanos only to be told about 14 days later (after I emailed them to say where are my shoes) that oh, they didn't have my size anymore, despite them being listed on the website.

Anything cheaper than $250 seems to be limited sizes - even in Gel Kayano 21.

I've heard that the Kayano 22 has been designed a bit poorly - they don't breathe too well or something.

I bought my last pair, from overseas, on ebay for about $150.

I tried on a pair of GT-2000s today.

Find them really comfy and $50 less than Gel Kayanos.

You'd think there would be heaps of places online that would have them, but like the Gel Kayanos, not in my size.

The one bloody place that seems to have them in my size, that would cost $170, is bloody Stringers Sports. The place that bloody screwed me over before. Bloody hell. Why does it have to be so bloody difficult? >:(

I feel ya pain dogkat !! I got them for ~USD$80 in the States ..
I would strongly suggest cutting your losses now. Your time is far more valuable than hunting for a cheaper version of shoes you know to be great!

Thanks, yeah, I'm at that stage.

It just bites to be paying full price :grinning:

Has anyone tried both the 21's and 22's ?

Been reading a few reviews saying not to bother with the 22's as they are too soft and no good for running (compared to the previous models)
