Anyone use them?
I used to use them all the time but after going to one in Guilford i stopped cause they stuffed the button on my Bluetooth Car Kit and they wrecked my car mats.
You cut a hole in the mat and have something that sticks into your carpet and then a bit that clips in the top to stop the mat from moving.
Well they ripped it off the carpet and broke it, both drivers side and passenger side.
I told the manager on duty and he didn't care, so Guilford Car Wash Cafe wasn't gonna get my money anymore.
To fix The Car Kit cost me another $65, plus the $25 it cost me to watch them do a bad job on the wash, and break things in my car.
Today i went to Blue Water Car Wash in Revesby.
The guy that met me was polite he asked me what i wanted, i told him and off i went to get a coffee.
The girl behind the counter took my money, didn't give me any change then when i asked for it, she said she already gave it to me, even after i emptied my pockets she didn't want to give me my change.
So we were off to a bad start already, The Coffee was pretty good, so i waited for my car to turn into a Shiny Machine.
The Car turned out OK, not Beautiful, just ok.
They use Towel to dry the car and not Chamois so it left streaks on the paint and they didn't clean all the windows properly, but at least nothing was broken or taken from my car.
Overall i was Satisfied, the $30 Charge was steep, i have paid $20 at other places and been given a Free Coffee, but today i have to buy my own.
The paint looks good apart from a few streaks, The windows are good except for the windscreen where there are still a few bug marks, If i'm paying $30 for someone to wash my car, I'd expect them to do a better job than what i can do, as that's their business after all!
