Supply and demand + owning JDMs older than 25 years old in the US is legal and the yanks have pretty much burnt the JDM markets.

A few of my mates own BNR34 GTRs and they get ridiculous offers sent to them by yanks wanting to buy their GTR

I had one of these during the mid to late 80s. Almost identical, except I had original wheels, with low-profile, soft compound Yokohama tyres, so it handled beautifully, when being thrown around. Should have kept it !!!
