Congrats to Kuresa, Seve, and Cogger on promotions.

Worried that Sue and Montoya aren't named however.

Game is just before ours on Sunday so we will probably fly Sue and Montoya with first grade for cover for forwards and backs

Disappointing that Tui Katoa is injured but he shouldn't be missing too long with finger fractures.

Kuresa and Seves form (from JF highlights) looks to be pretty good of late. Katoa has been playing good footy as well... bummer re his injury.

FInger fractures along with toe and foot are tough injuries to deal with... I have a fractured toe at the moment after trying to stop a cricket ball with foot ( moronic ).
The healing process is slow because u just keep bumping it causing further injury.. Hopefully he takes care of his finger.

I just watched the highlights video from last weeks Canterbury Cup and looks like Sue made another massive defensive blunder that cost us a try. I really don't want him back in our 17, surely Pay doesn't rate him higher than RFM now? Or perhaps Pay doesn't want RFM to miss playing for fitness reasons.

Haven't kept up with the reserves too much but he was a hooker but was shifted to lock/back row about 2 years ago if i recall correctly?

Yep he was a hooker, but then Brown and Woolford sealed his fate in the second row.

As a player, he's about as exciting and skillful as Black and Gold or Homebrand museli.

Bland as bland can be.

Like his old man then.

At least their pies aren't bad.

Looks like one of the weaker sides we have run out with in recent years.

They will need to play the power game like last year and hope the forwards can get them home. I doubt they will win any other way.
Yh it will be a difficult game. I wonder how many times we will see "none of these players should ever play first grade" posts in this thread lol.

Speaking of players that shouldn’t play first grade where’s John Olive?
