Everyone can put the breaks on getting excited about beating 1st place. The Mounties completely gutted the team and there was only a couple of NRL players in their team. The Dogs did exactly what they should have done.

That majority of that Mounties side has been destroying teams this year. 22 is the equal lowest score Mounties have put on all year. Majority of their games they score 30+.

Abbey, Sezer and Starling didn’t play that’s 3/4 of their spine that didn’t play.

The only players that played today and aren't regulars in their NSW Cup were:
Daniel Roberts (fullback)
Harley Smith-Shields (centre)
Kyle Patterson (hooker)
Duwayner Mariner (bench)
Sam Duggan (bench).

Their halves have played together most of this season.

They were losing 16-0 until the 18th minute. Great comeback

I was impressed with the way they clicked into gear and Mounties were held scoreless from the eighteenth minute until the 78th after leading 16-0. Some nice play from Nu Brown set up at least one try and some determined running by Garlick and Tass rewarded. Hetherington is tough..went over for a try just before half time but collided with the goal post...at least walked off as best he could. Some really positive signs if we can stay focused like today. Pitovao scored a nice try and James Roumanos had his best game for us. Lewis missed a few tackles that cost us but made amends later in the game.

Mounties ahead at the top of the ladder having lost only twice and we cut their F/A by 30 today causing them to lose bragging rights about the best attack and defence in the competition.

According to stats on NSWRL Abbey has played only four games this year for Mounties; Sezer 4 although Starling has played 9. Most of the other players have been incumbent in the side.

It's time to go back to back! When was the time a team won back to back NSW Cup titles?

Fuckwits must have changed the game start time... was meant to kick off at 11:45AM.

Clearly not!

Given the side has mass changes and very little time to train and gel, that's understandable.

Good to see 2 of the 3 new recruits scoring tries already.

Hopefully we go on with this rather than back off.
Don't know who stuffed up went there 11-30 and missed most of first half.

Notice Lewis wrapped over to the right for his try...yet he hasn't left the left edge all season at NRL level.

The Lichaa part of your post may go down like a lead balloon with some here but he did play well. Stayed on field even when young Hetherington came on , he played 80 and topped the tackle count ( has done so in his last 4). Nu Brown demonstrated some silky ball skills and the Garlick try he set up was brilliant.

I would have been pissed if I had missed the first half but luckily we left home extra early and were surprised when the gates were opened and people let in at 11am. No notification that we knew of or saw anywhere to let fans know about the earlier start...all to do with the Indigenous celebration and the presentation of the 1980 and 2004 teams for a lap of honour plus the montage for Steve Folkes centre of excellence....

Licha carries lead balloons around on the field
