I agree, I’ll also add Mam’s defence is actually solid, he regularly put bigger blokes on their backsides last year - I’m guessing any of his misses were effort plays or under fatigue, he doesn’t miss front on or one-on-one tackles (not that I’ve seen anyway).

Walsh will be the best player in the world next season or by 2025.
Yep.
When Slater picks Walsh for SOO ahead of one of the other best players in the game (Ponga) and doesn't think twice about it, it's evidence enough.

Can we all just wish the best for our beloved club and start cheering them on for 2024.
Yes everyone has an opinion, put that aside and let’s get excited for 2024.
There's stuff to be excited about win, lose or draw. As a long term Doggies supporter I know without doubt that we are headed in the right direction. Its a fact that what we are doing with the development, higher standards, more fitness and dicipline and renewing Bulldogs culture we will improve and improve within the next few years.

That is what has been missing and what everyone was calling for. We are actually do it rather than trying to buy Bulldogs for other clubs. That may have got us instant wins in the short term but left nothing substancial in addressing our culture, getting back to who we are as a club, our history and family.

Whether that means immediate success on the field is a matter of time but this is CC's second year and we know it takes time to change a culture and rub off. I think we will do better than last year but the simple fact we have a much better backline with a good choice of halves and close to a better pack considering half the pack was injured last year we must imporove.

Barring injury with a fit Kikau, King and Preston, the addition of Curran and Mann, a recommitted Mariner and a better prepared and experienced Knight and young blokes like Hughes and Patolo as well as two specialist hookers, utilities to plug holes and no dead wood to carry from uncommitted players its all looking positive positive.

He too busy trashing walsh mam and Reynolds lol
Most would have to admit this is a bit ridiculous. Also, reading his original post implies they (and other teams he mentioned) are in no better position than us. He might try and back pedal on that claim but upon the initial reading this is what he insinuates.

Agree ....

Walsh's pace off the mark makes him virtually impossible to stop from getting on the outside of defenders .... then he has ALL the skills to do whatever it takes to turn it into points ..... Ben Barbar in that great season with us is the only other player i can remember being as lethal.

Whenever we play the Broncs in the future it's "heart attack time" when Reece has the ball .... Sensational player.

Laui isn't worth 1.2m but i think Walsh is .... interesting to see what The Broncos deal is, will be third partied to the hilt.

All little blokes miss tackles .... it is how they go about those misses that i worry about. I have never thought once that Mam is scared or dogged it.
