Without being asked the generic coach question, interesting that the first person to praise, Tracey called out CC

Loved his game management
Him and others couple times brought the inside ball play, wonder if that was tactical to disrupt play.
A lot of times it looked like they'd play that sweep play we've gotten so used to seeing. Some mind games

Ciraldo imo is getting the best out of his players limitations to be a solid work for each other footy team. On paper there's not a lot in individuals that screams "the big show" compared to other sides' rosters. He's definitely showing good signs of a Bellamy kind of reign.

Yes, its one of our best wins in a long time. Considering we don't really have many big names and price tags and that we still don't have our best side available its a team win, a systems win, a mentality win which has been instilled in the club. We have been competitive in most games so its not a one off but something thats becoming our DNA.

Just think we have not peaked yet. That may come in the finals or maybe next year but we will keep getting better.
I watched yesterday’s game with my old man and said I can’t remember enjoying a season as much as this year because I absolutely know we will be competitive until the end. The players are just demanding it of each other. I was laughing out loud at some points because it’s just so joyful to watch when we’re in a mood like yesterday.

Our worst loss this year was by 19 points against the Sharks in round 2. We’re one of the greatest turnaround stories in history, to have literally halved our points against and then be able to turn on some absolutely scintillating attack like yesterday is beyond belief. You just have to be in awe of what Ciraldo has done in terms of systems and attitude.

And to imagine if we won the 5 close games !
They were part of the learning curve. The most pleasing thing this year is the rapid improvement that has happened. Now that our attack has clicked we can deadset beat any side on their day. A Dogs Penrith grand final is on the cards and we can beat them in what would be one of the greatest fairy tales in the history of the game

I can’t recall a more enjoyable season either. This is better than 2012. In 04 we had high expectations but this year the side has just shocked everyone

Well said mate.
I don't suffer heart attacks anymore when we defend our line. In fact the closer the better. Less room for the attackers and our line speed nullifies any movement.
Occasionally you'll get a Reece Walsh doing something special but we are human after all :grinning:

Even that Walsh try shouldn’t have happened, Burton had him lined up and did some arm grabbing. Someone posted earlier that they’d take Tracey over Walsh any day and I completely agree, Tracey won’t cut a defence apart or kick a 40/20 like Walsh can but Tracey will also never go missing or try a miracle play when it’s not on.

This season probably feels more enjoyable bc of the joy and relief that we know we definately have our footy team back after all these hard bumbling inept years which were unprecedented by comparison to the success our Club has known.

Feels like we have gone from the depths of despair and the lows to the wonderful positive knowledge that we are looking like a top team and Club once again and we love it
