It's a pretty amazing achievement no matter what you think of him. Not only 400 games, but all those games played at most an extremely high standard. Has he ever had a form slump?

You throw him in our side even at his age, and we all of a sudden play like world-beaters in my opinion.

Bloke has not missed more than 4 weeks consecutively through injury IIRC.

I hate him as much as the next bloke, but I also greatly respect him for being so consistent. Will retire, and be lauded as the games best ever player IMO

This shouldn't be overlooked.

Usually players get rubbed out of the game to ESL or early retirement due to salary cap pressures. Also, he is in a situation tailor made for him. Any other team would have not re-signed Smith in order to keep Brandon Smith. But B Smith seems to be a passenger to the Cam Smith regime.

But credit to him.
