worse than that... they are portraying Flanagan as a master recruiter when in fact, the likes of Barba, Ennis and Lewis were unwanted by their then clubs --> Lewis was on too much money at Penrith, Ennis wanted a longer deal from us, and Bennett wanted no part of an imploding Barba

Sounds like smart recruiting to me, identified upgrades in the positions that his team needed, looked around the league, spotted the missing pieces and got quality for less than their true worth. Lewis and Ennis had points to prove, that they weren’t past it, and he navigated Barba‘s mind around his obvious issues, all 3 long enough to achieve the desired result for his team.

The fox guys were saying that with TPJ and dale they kept withdrawing and playing hardball then coming back after the withdrawal with new offers, and it seems as if they are putting players off side.
and then there was that ridiculous swap offer Brooks and moses for Wighton and Papalii. Stupid.
