Would this be yet another medically enforced retirement for the Rabbitohs and a cap dispensation???

Fears are emerging that Sam Burgess' left shoulder injury could drive him into early retirement.
The South Sydney captain will miss Great Britain's end-of-season Tests but won't undergo surgery, with the Rabbitohs hoping that his joint will settle with rest.
Burgess struggled with the arthritic shoulder throughout the year and was clearly hampered by the injury in Souths' final game, a preliminary final loss to Canberra.
Nine News reported this week that the bone in Burgess' shoulder was rapidly deteriorating. The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Souths officials are "resigned" to the fact that Burgess, who will be 31 next season, won't see out the four-year deal he signed last year.
Yet Rabbitohs head of football Shane Richardson downplayed claims that Burgess would need to reconsider his future and might be missing for round one next season.
"It's a bit early for that call," Richardson told the Herald.
Former Rabbitohs prop Mark Carroll claimed on Thursday that Burgess has limited movement in his shoulder.
"He can only raise that left shoulder to a 45 degree angle," Carroll told Macquarie Sports Radio.
