Great news. I like 1 year extensions for the younger players, but caution with WA coming in 27' they will be sniffing around

They will need guys they can build a culture around. These tend to be like the Dolphins loads of old heads mixed with young guys. I do think someone like Sexton will be in that mix with another young half behind him.

Tia will replace Mann eventually. He career is the perfect 14 to start with to get him used to the pace of NRL and develop him further. I'm sure Gus and CC will be chatting to him about that path.

Gould has said many times that he doesn't give a rats about November 1, he re-signs players when he believes that the time is right. When the club is ready and the player is ready, whenever that is in the year he cares nothing about.

Agree, Sexy has been solid except for last week when he wasn't great.. even in poor weather..
If he stumbles again this week, then maybe he might be on a shorter leash...

We have to accept that we're likely to lose a few from the FG squad and a promising youngster or two once the two new teams come in. Hopefully Tia isn't one of them as he looks to have a tonne of potential.

I think it’s still a bit soon for him. He needs to be consistently dominant for 2-3 months straight to make the jump.
He has a special spark, it’s rare to find, but I still think he needs to round out his game first.

He looks like the ideal 14 for us...can play halves and lock, could probably play hooker in required and is currently spending time playing centre. Probably best for his development to stay in reserves where he will get extended minutes for the time being though.

if you notice we rarely sign longer than 2 years, only the elite signing like Critter etc. CC like them to stay hungry
