Interesting they are technically on the market come November since its only a 1 year. But good news overrall.
Could also be a test "show me what you got, ill give you another year". I like this mentality of the dogs recruitment these days. That's Gus telling them that the payday will come, and he doesn't want to overpay/underpay you. A bit of goodwill goes a long way.
Great news. I like 1 year extensions for the younger players, but caution with WA coming in 27' they will be sniffing around
yeah 100%.. Tia will definitely be chased by the Perth team.. he's ready now I reckon...Great news. I like 1 year extensions for the younger players, but caution with WA coming in 27' they will be sniffing around

shame he can't get a run in the NRL..
I know its not a popular view, but maybe we let Sexy walk and then next year round 1 we have:
7. Tia
6. Burto
at least then we can see what he's got..
Agree, Sexy has been solid except for last week when he wasn't great.. even in poor weather..Hoping to see Tia in 1st grade this year
I think it’s still a bit soon for him. He needs to be consistently dominant for 2-3 months straight to make the jump.Hoping to see Tia in 1st grade this year
He looks like the ideal 14 for us...can play halves and lock, could probably play hooker in required and is currently spending time playing centre. Probably best for his development to stay in reserves where he will get extended minutes for the time being though. We need to start seeing Tia in FG. Our future is Tia and possibly Woods. Burton needs to show something more than his long kicking game, he's already 5 years in FG. Otherwise he moves to center.
if you notice we rarely sign longer than 2 years, only the elite signing like Critter etc. CC like them to stay hungrywould of been nicer if they were re-signed for longer then 1 year
