It kind of looks like you'll get your wish and no Salmon lol

This team looks like a NSW cup team, apart from Hughes.
Nah the young pups just need some experience to help them out. Salmon would have put his hand up as he's a great club man. What a bloke

More than half of the teams have essentially named a Reserves team for this weeks trials though. Next week's trial we'll see most of the starters named.
What happened to old mate who was adamant the best 17 would be named lol

why are we wasting time giving quality game time to Taafe and Hutch? Both have zero future at the club and wont be resigned...
They should be playing young guys instead or people who have a future... not these two.. FFS!!!

some interesting names on the interchange.. namely Alekolasimi Jones.. never heard of him but is apparently a young middle.. Luke smith at centre is interesting as thought he was an edge forward.. Lots of Flegg guys from last year so that's a positive
AJ Jones can put on a big hit - firey. Smith usually a back rower - shortage of centres for this level? Taye Cochrane is another little fullback.

Dangerous to read anything out of the team, but in saying that, it's a little disconcerting that Amone is 15. I was hoping he'd get some extended minutes. Whether this is a reflection of his fitness or how far he is down the pecking order, who knows.

Naming Hughes and DSF starting Props suggest that DSF maybe in front of all the other Prop options, ie Hughes and King starting Rd 1, but DSF favourite for one bench spot. Which is interesting if he has pulled his finger out in preseason, another big body on bench will be a positive.

Kinda regret getting tickets after this list...

At least I'll get to see Tia and Sua, that's about it lol

Kiraz, Tuala and Montoya can all play centre in required

Really keen to see Gabrael play, I think his game translates really well to NRL, similar to Xerri maybe a little less pace

Biggest interest for me is front rowers. It might be a little sign that DSF's ahead a bit, maybe also picking Hughes means he's got some competition - keeping him honest (I'm sure he'll be in Rd 1 team!) Amone should also get 30 mins at least. Zyon's been training for the Warriors so he should get some too. The next trial V Broncos should say more.

Hutch vs Galvin is a gigantic mis-match, but Sua or Wilsov vs Skelton should be good.

What was the centre from jersey flegg gf name and also the lock , They both showed loads of potential

Fahmy Toilalo played lock and Danny Gabrael was the centre you're thinking about.

We only have 4 centres
Crichton, Xerri, Tuala, Gabrael - end of story. That's it for both NRL and Cup!?
Seem short staffed??

Maybe William Afualo & Sosaia Kaufusi (Flegg) if they're still about.

Otherwise, I dunno?

Backrowers - Smith, Hayes, Tupounuia could plug a hole for a while.

We've been throwing 'em out in the last 18 months ...
Averillo, Alamoti, Samrani, Clark, Perham... (even Michael Gabrael...)
Maybe there is a secret plan afoot to utilise some current wingers or 5/8's in the centres??
Only if needed ....of course!?

We also have Affualo from Flegg. He is a gun ctw. Surprised he is not getting a run. Maybe needed for cup/flegg.

I reckon Taaffe has a future unlucky not to play in our last game last year

Kiraz & Wilson both above taafe on pecking order surely...

even Wavik should be ahead of Taafe... he is too small nowadays to plays FB... gets thrown around like a rag doll
Don’t think that is his problem it’s catching
