It’s only a trial game I know,but I like what I’m seeing amongst the playing group. Is anyone else seeing the team a bit more excited and playing faster and with belief?

Main take-aways were if Skelton and Pele keep improving they could be anything.
And Mahoney confirmed what we already knew. That he will make everyone look better.
Except Flanagan.
Flanagan really exposed now as not being able to create even when the feed is perfect and the opposition is disorganised.

6 tries from a team without Fox, Burton, Kiks, (the 3 weapons on our left), and no TPJ and Perham in the middle, and Mahoney only playing 25 or so minutes. Good result. Important not to get ahead of ourselves, but the opposition were in a similar position with about the same number of key players out. Importantly, the tries came on the back of good consistent play.

Just remember last years trials, absolute disaster and it was the way we played for the first ten rounds. Looks like we have some depth and a steady ship under Ciraldo

As a coach, I never paid too much attention to stats and it was only a trial, but if the boys can keep this kind of enthusiasm and discipline throughout the season there is no reason they can't be a top-eight contender.

He created the first try? He put in a good effort and we scored 22 points with him on field.
