Averillo has been great over the pre season at centre . Unfortunately we are lacking a Fb and for the balance of the side Hayze will need to do a role there.

My concern is will Averillo handle the centre position defensively

I don’t get this ‘Averillo is a shit defender’ narrative. I’m not even being bias, he isn’t a known specialist at defense but he can hold his own easily. Schoupp was known for ‘defense’ when he was so clearly bad at it. Look at the stats for Schoupp lmao

as a centre you rely on the guy inside , I think the inside guys are better this year than we have had for a long time..
