Unless the Kennel gives their seal of approval I won’t be backing any signings Gus makes.

What the fuck does he know compared to the experts on here ??????
People tend to forget that we are building a squad, a big body is needed off the bench and Pele is potentially that player...
He carries a great name Pele
His nickname is Frank the Tank
We can't go wrong :grinning:

Pele is a big body with some pace but he's also a reserve grader than can't get fit at one of the fittest clubs in the NRL. Major improvement needed from him if he wants to be an NRL player.

Sounds like one of those situations where the player has been given a decent chance to step up at club A, but isn't taking it, and probably the only chance he has is a bit of shock treatment, change of scenery. If he gets a go at another club and doesn't respond, maybe he will get a chance at one more club. If that still doesn't wake him up, off to the mines.

Lack of fitness is the reason why he is signed on the cheap, we have too many pricey forwards.
Potentially he could become something special.

Manly back rower bro, started at Parra a few years ago then switched to Manly, he only plays when their regular first graders are injured so he is only a depth signing
His been the number 12 for Manly for most of the season. I’m not sure his coming here to play reserves when he has consistently made Manly’s 17 all year.

All year? Yes he has played 12 from 19 games but that’s hardly all year!
