For the people who are saying Pele is horrible in defence and isn't fit. First of all, he hasn't had a start in FG and knowing he's coming to the Bulldogs he has to train hard and get match fitness levels up. With Gould, at the club, and a new coaching board and trainers he will fire up next year. Kikau, Pangai, King and Jacko will help him develop, before we had those player's all our juniors fell apart and that's why we dont have good juniors, just like Zac Woolford who was playing under JMK and it fucked his development, that's why he had to move to a experienced Knights and Raiders side. On the other hand, Pele is playing under a beast of a forward pack and i expect a battle between Franklin Pele and Chris Patolo for a FG spot!

Pele is cheap. Plenty of upside. But I doubt the sharks let him go if he was a good trainer. So I wouldn’t expect any miracles. Best he may end up a 30min bench player. As for davey he is just senior depth. Nice to have to be able to step up with pele is not ready when we get injuries in the top grade.

We can't tell what 2023 brings, so we have to wait and see.
Well we sort of can. Gould won’t be rushing anyone into first grade. Especially young forwards who usually don’t mature till 23-24. Even worse ones who need to get fit and show they can continue that. Our pack is starting to look like one you will need to earn your spot in.

8. Tevita Pangai Junior
9. Reed Mahoney
10. Luke Thompson (Royce Hunt if we sign him)
11.
Villiame Kikau
12. Josh Jackson
13. Max King

14. Ryan Sutton
15. Raymond Faitala-Mariner
16. Andrew Davey
17. Franklin Pele

Ava Seumanufagai, Corey Waddell and Chris Patolo will have to be forced out of the FG team.

Reed Mahoney is a 80 minute hooker, which will let BBO develop his game in NSW cup.

What will happen to Ava Seumanufagai, Corey Waddell and Chris Patolo. Those are the 3 remaining forwards which will be likely forced out of the 17.

Earn there spots or play reserve grade. But knowing Gould they will probably be shopped. That’s his job. Refresh the squad.

WHO THE FUCK IS DAVEY?
Manly back rower bro, started at Parra a few years ago then switched to Manly, he only plays when their regular first graders are injured so he is only a depth signing
